This was a fun project that I picked up from a recent kickstarter by Knightmare Miniatures . We all have meaningful stories about dungeon crawler games from childhood. The most significant of which, of course, was Heroquest. These models are a nod to that classic game of old, and my painted set (completed in 2021) can be found here.
The new Heroquest game from Hasbro games has numerous expansions, and plays identically to the old version. Its miniatures take advantage of the technological advances in plastic molding that have occurred since the 80’s, and are actually quite good. I would encourage you to pick up a copy, and recreate some of those childhood memories especially if you have your own kids. Enjoy the pictures!
